This is a report about a fictional abandoned sanatorium and a fictional urban explorer name Elliot Swing who visited this place in 2016.
Hi everyone! Elliot Swing here and I'm writing this within the bowels of yet another abandoned building! This time I'm in Welling Sanatorium in Deakins, California! What used to be a sanctuary for TB patients in the 1920s and 1930s turned into a home for the mentally sick and some say a criminally insane doctor! If there was ever a place to be haunted this would be it. There have been reports of ghosts in just about every building. The ghost of an old man haunts the old lunch building. A ghostly wailing can be heard where the old "Boys" building once stood 80 or so years ago. The ghost of a teacher who hung herself in the attic of the old "Girls" building haunts one of the classrooms. Also, in the "Girls" building there's the ghost of a little boy who looks like he's been burned. Maybe a victim of the old "Boys" building fire! The ghost of a little girl can be seen swinging in the old abandoned playground. Don't get me started on the graveyard! That place needs a whole section by itself! Right now I'm sitting behind the old front desk in the main building. Wait just a minute. I think I just heard the clicking of little shoes running down the hallway! It sounded just like a little child running down the hall right in front of me. I must admit I have a connection to this place. It's not the first time I've been here. My grandfather was actually a patient here back in the 1940s. He's gone now but the things he told me about this place...well let me tell you...
