AI Series The Adventures of Ellie Clearwater

Based upon the story I was writing in this blog called Welcome to Wellings, this AI series on YouTube was created mostly with Sora AI and some Adobe Firefly scenes as well. Thought it would only make sense that I post the series here as well. It's been a bit since I've written anything but I hope if there is anyone out there who still cares about this blog would enjoy these episodes no matter how crude they are. I'm a novice at this type of thing so please be kind. lol! Some scenes were changed to fit Sora's rules so it isn't a complete match to the story but I tried as much as I could. Hope you enjoy these episodes of The Clearwater Adventures AKA The Adventures of Ellie Clearwater.

Ron Perlman as Vincent-The Beast

Paramount Pictures - CBS

Christian Clemenson as Jonathan Gould

Hey! One of the writers for this episode is Ron Perlman (as in Vincent himself)! Go Ron! :)

Entrance to Narnia?!

Flying over New York City at night again leads us to a spooky street lamp in a park.

I spy strangers in the night!

Some mustachioed dude is taking video of people and owls when he becomes incredibly lucky that Vincent is out for a stroll.

Not me! Check out that dude over there!

He walks right into the camera's sight! He must have thought he caught Big Foot in New York. lol

I smell crushed dreams and desperation.

The man becomes very excited and tries to follow Vincent which leads him to one of the drainage tunnels.

Holy Toledo! Big Foot in New York?!

Later the man is reviewing his footage in his office and yep he has a pretty good view of Vincent. I don't think this is going to go well for our Shining Hair.

12 years of beatings?! Arrest him NOW!

Meanwhile at the D.A.'s office Cathy is talking with Joe. She's showing him some pics of a woman who looks beaten up. She's wants Joe to arrest a man for domestic abuse.

He STILL has the dartboard by the door!

Joe calls Cathy back just before she leaves to inform her that she's been promoted to a job in Providence, Rhode Island.

You're too good for this place!

She has to accept or decline within just a couple days or so.

Love or Money? Your choice

Joe's really pushing it hard on her to accept, saying an opportunity like this "won't come along again for a long time." Decisions, decisions!

We should be fine dinning!

Talking it out with Edie over "diet Pepsis" at lunch leads Cathy to learning about how Edie would handle such a situation.

Advice from an friend.

Making a list of the good and bad prospects of this new job is what she suggests Cathy should do.

Edie gets romantical...with a flower.

Edie also says taking this job may come with a chance of romance for our Beauty. Hee hee. If only she knew...right?

Renn Woods as Edie

Cathy says if she took the job she'd miss her friend (Edie). We'd all miss Edie! She rocks!

You're just a resentful, old fart!

Meanwhile, mustache dude from earlier is trying to convince some guys from a university about Vincent. Hey! Those dudes called Vincent the Loch Ness Monster! Bigfoot at least walks on land! They're not having any of this nonsense. They think he's just an old, kooky professor who's still upset someone stole his work years back.

Private Eyes are watching you!

While all of this is going on, some bi-speckled dude is watching them through some blinds.

Where oh where has my little cat gone?

Later that night Cathy stops by a storm drain to visit Vincent.

Send Me An Angel

She's looking around for him and he's been staring at her and not saying a word for moments until he says, "You look like an angel standing there."

I'm leaving you for a better job.

A little creepy, Vincent. She talks of her promotion and all the good it could do. Unfortunately she would have to move to Rhode Island and she couldn't take her kitty with her. :(

I'm happy for ya! I REALLY am!

Of course, Vincent takes in the word Providence which makes him believe it's "meant to be" of Catherine taking this opportunity. She's conflicted because she wants to be here with Vincent and take the job but she can't do both. Vincent inspires her to do all she can so he can experience it all with her. A very loving and sweet speech but he's still not going to be physically with her. Romantic but not fair. :(

I'm happy! Honest! Do it for us!

After he leaves her we see that the speech was mostly or at least partly an act because it was tearing him up inside to let her go!

Shot through the heart and you're to blame!

Vincent you are too good for this world! Yes, this is a boo hoo, soap opera episode.

Take this job and shove it...in a happy way!

The next day Cathy walks into Joe's office and announces that she's taking the new job.

Don't go! I secretly love you!

Wishy washy Joe says he wanted her to stay. Make up your mind, Joe! I think someone has a crush. He even uses his nick name for her, Radcliffe which I believe is the college Cathy must have attended.

Too bad! I'm taken!

Hugs and goodbyes.

Misery in the Library

Vincent's heart is still breaking and Father is there to stomp on it as usual. He tries to convince Father that going back to before Catherine isn't an option anymore.

If you love her let her go!

Father's broken record advice of "letting her follow her own path" is getting on Vincent's nerves.

Find another record to play, Father!

Your words mean nothing Father. How could you know what he's feeling?!

Slime ball at your service!

Back in Professor Hughes's (mustache dude's) office a door opens and we meet grad student Jonathan Gould (bi-speckled man in blinds).

You can totally trust the Gould Man!

He looks slimy and his name isn't helping him either. Sort of sounds like some alien worm from Stargate SG1. He claims he overheard Prof. Hughes's conversation with the university men yesterday. Gould wants to help him but

Sorry, I don't need a Scully to my Mulder.

Hughes tries to dissuade Gould from making the same mistakes he did. I guess that means pursuing cryptids or letting someone else take credit for his work? I don't know.

Aw shucks! Would this Opie face lie to you?

Gould doesn't care about getting paid or any of that. He's all in. Hmmm. What are they going to do?

Blinded by the light...for the third time!

Later that night, Vincent walks out of a storm drain, taking another night time stroll in the park when a van turns its head lights onto him. Oh look Gould is there...with a gun.

I'm Safari hunting in New York!

He shoots a tranquilizer dart into Vincent's shoulder padded cloak! How could it even puncture through that?! LOL!

Nothing can stop me!

Those shoulder pads were THICK back in the day! Believe me I know!

If only this were The A-Team van!

Vincent pulls it out and runs off with the van and Gould in pursuit!

Sweet dreams, kitty!

A little bit of traveling in the woods and Vincent strikes out at Gould making him fall.

I feel a little deja vu!

Vincent is close to the storm drain (freedom and safety) but the dart must have hit its mark because our Knight begins to stumble. The van drives up right between Vin and the drain. Hughes steps out and shoots Vincent right in the middle of the chest. Our man is one strong kitty because it takes one more before he's down. He collapses in front of the van. Poor Vincent. This is ANOTHER episode where he's captured. Not a good day for our Knight in Shining Hair and a little bit of history repeating.

What do I see through my peep hole today?

Oh but hold on there for a second! Some good news!

I'm way up there! Yes, in the St. Elsewhere building!

Looks like the capture was observed through a Betty White wannabe's telescope in a high rise apartment!

Thank you for being a snoop!

That thing has some good range!

Cathy: You've Got Mail!

Some time later one child tunnel dweller gives another one a message to give Catherine. Word travels fast in the tunnels.

Looks like she's going to leave Vincent!

Cathy is packing up her things in her apartment and preparing to move. She picks up the book of sonnets Vincent had given her a few episodes back and reads the inscription he had written for her.

Remember when you were so in love?

How can you leave this man, Catherine?!

Forget your career!

Is he not your fairytale Knight in Shining Hair?!

Shadows in the night

After receiving the message, Cathy travels back to the tunnels to meet with Father.

Lady, I don't see what he sees in you!

He says that Vincent is missing, that she basically broke his heart with the leaving New York stuff, and Father's had to endure Vincent's depression. Cathy's been a bad girl again.

Really it's because Vincent thinks you care.

When she asks him why he came to tell her all this he simply says, "I know you care."

Wow! I've got my work cut out for me.

Yeah, he doesn't like whatever this is between you two but at least you care.

In the office the lion sleeps tonight.

Back in Prof. Hughes's lab/office the duplicitous duo have strapped our unconscious knight onto a gurney. Hughes is walking around him being completely in awe of what's before him.

Everything is beautiful!

He believes he must be a human. Gould believes him to be an animal.

Welcome  to the Jungle! $$$$$$$$

Oh great. Don't like where this is going! Gould wants to show the world their discovery as soon as possible but Hughes is a little unsure. He's afraid someone could steal Vincent and take his credit again.

Are you going to be a problem?

Gould tells him he's "ours and we will decide what to do with him." Really. He sounds a little greedy to me.

I spend my time...thinking about you

The next day, Catherine stands on her balcony worrying about Vincent.

Lucy in the sky with Diamonds

Meanwhile Vincent is still drugged up on the gurney. He starts having a trippy dream where he does the same movements three or four times in Cathy's apartment.

Checking on Rick Baker's makeup

He picks up the book of sonnets, catches Cathy's reflection in her Hollywood dressing room mirror, and tries to walk across her bedroom three or four times to reach her.

Here I am, the one that you love!

Well, come and get me, baby!

You snooze, you lose!

He took too long so she disappears.

What in the Boss Hog?!

Back out of the dream Vincent speaks Catherine's name to Hughes's surprise.

I Scare Myself

Vincent wakes up just as shocked to see Hughes.

Who cares about humanity.

Gould doesn't believe Hughes when he claims Vin talked and wants to shoot up Vincent with more trippy drugs. Don't do that, Gould! We've had enough of Vincent's dreams please!

Conan O'Brien says, "Take that, cat!"

Apparently Vincent agrees with us because the next second he busts out of his bonds and pushes them off!

Keep on dreaming

It isn't enough though, Gould shoots him a couple more times and he's down again.

You still here?!

Edie stops by Catherine's apartment for a visit and some coffee.

So I see you already have a man!

While Cathy is making the coffee, Edie picks up the book of sonnets. She asks about Vincent and if he may be the reason she's still considering whether or not to leave again. Of course Cathy is tight lipped about her knight.

That's my man. He'll turn up in a month or two.

Shouldn't she be out there trying to find her man instead of having coffee with Edie? I guess she just doesn't know where to look yet.

Time to visit a Golden Girl!

The next second she does know where to look. She spots Edie's tabloid newspaper.

Sorry Edie, grandma's calling!

The headline describes Granny Betty White's telescoped adventure involving Shining Hair. Catherine is on the hunt!

Seriously...not even a pillow?!

Sadly our Knight is behind bars. The guys have caged our beautiful kitty and left him all alone. Come on! They should've left some more bedding and maybe a Simon game or even a Rubik's Cube.

Still just a cat in a cage

That sure looked like a long, boring night for our man. Oh who am I kidding, a book would've been the best thing for Vincent. Nevermind that pesky other thing they could've given him. Oh I don't know um...FREEDOM!

Can we just talk with him for a while?

The next day the two men start arguing about Vincent while our poor kitty cries in his cage.

*Sniff* I remember that sweet freedom.

Grrrr! Gould still wants to expose the "animal" while Hughes wants to know more about him.

You're no Opie Taylor!

The two fight and Gould pushes Hughes down on his way out to tell the world about Vincent.

Okay, where's my circus show?!

Later Gould shuttles one of the University men from earlier to Hughes's office to show off Vincent.

This partnership is over!

When they arrive Hughes and Vincent are gone to Gould's chagrin.

I'm bored with my job. You want it?

Catherine visits the tabloid newspaper's firm and talks to a Byron Trask. He must be head writer or something. She asks him if he believes the old lady's account and that she needs to meet with her. He basically says yes to both.

Are you a fan of Rear Window?

The eccentric, nosy but sweet lady finally gets to the point and reveals what she saw that night.

The A-Team shot that kitty!

She describes Vincent as having "a terrible animal face with such pain." The lady shows Cathy where it happened through her telescope.

Heroes in a half-shell! Turtle Power!

Of course it's the drainage tunnel. Too bad the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles weren't around when it happened because Granny would've had more to report! Then again maybe not because the turtles are a ninja fighting team and Vincent would be safe at home by now.

I spy with my little eye!

Granny watches as Catherine investigates the crime scene.

I'll be watching you!

She wonders around for a few seconds and finds the tranquilizer darts for her efforts.

GO TO BED MRS. MERTZ!!

She glances up to Granny and ponders.

Why you ain't talking?

Hughes pleads with Vincent to talk to him. Vincent finally talks to Hughes. He wants freedom of course. Hughes wants to know why he was silent when Gould was around.

I only talk to sane people.

Gould wants to hurt him so no words of wisdom for him. He even gives Hughes his name when he asks. When Hughes asks about Catherine Vincent simply answers, "She's everything" and that "she only lives in my heart." Awww. He believes he'll never see her again.

Sorry I shot you earlier.

Vincent thinks she's gone to Rhode Island by now. Poor thing. According to Vincent he is dying because he is in a cage. Just like any other living thing, creature or human one needs to be free. Come on Hughes you sound like a nice guy! Free our Knight!!!

I thirst for infamy and corruption.

The next day Catherine strolls right by Gould who is drinking from a water fountain and knocks on Prof. Hughes's office door!

Hey Hughes, when opportunity knocks...

OH yeah! When she says her name is Catherine, Hughes opens the door. She says she traced the darts back to him.

Where is my Knight in Shining Hair?!

The two argue about taking Catherine to Vincent.

Like Mulan says, "Be a Man!"

She pleads for his humanity.

Let him go! Don't hold him back anymore!

Cathy wins and is rewarded with finding him and of course she wants him free.

Traitor!

Gould followed them and fights with Hughes over the key to Vincent's cage.

Mulder and Scully fighting

Hughes hits Gould on the head.

Conan finds a weapon.

Gould finds something sharp.

Still sticking it to the old man

He grabs it and stabs Hughes! Oh no! The sorta better guy got hurt!

Hey Slime-Ball! Is this what you want?

The keys fly out from Hughes pocket and land on the floor. Cathy grabs the keys and uses it like a weapon to try to stab Gould but Gould grabs hold of her.

Super Cathy!

She uses her foot to push herself and Gould away from the wall and toward Vincent.

I want my mommy!

Vincent grabs Gould and breaks his neck. Well, these two men will not be talking about Vincent anymore. The secret is safe once again.

Together at last!

Cathy unlocks the cage, checks on Vincent, and runs over to Hughes.

When I grow up I want to be like Vincent.

Just before he dies Hughes asks Vincent for forgiveness.

Another fine mess we have.

Our romantic duo are back in the tunnels and in Vincent's awesome room.

I sure did miss books...and Cathy.

He listens while Catherine reads to him by candlelight. Being in the tunnels, living in a cave, not allowed up above during the day, but only at night is so much better than being in a cage. Hmmmm.

This cage has a stained glass window,
pillows, books, and a pretty lady.
I think I'll survive.

At least Father's cage is bigger. I guess Cathy made her choice. She's not leaving. A...lovely ending...to this episode.

Wow! This episode had so many peepers! Hughes looking in his camera, Gould looking through the blinds, and little, old Betty White with her telescope! What's up with that?! Oh, if the guy who played Jonathan Gould looked a little familiar then maybe (if you're a Gen Xer like me or you're just a fan of the show) you saw him on another short lived tv series. He played Socrates Poole on The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. Well this episode is down. Tootles!

Shave and a haircut...two bits!

It's daytime in New York City and we are in a barber shop. A balding, middle aged barber has just been paid by a customer.

Someone needs to hear about this!

He sits down for a break and opens the newspaper. Something catches his eye in the Want Ads. Ah, the Want Ads.

FTR: Fight The Rain? Find The Rum?

He circles one of them named "The Wreck of my Memories" and writes the letters "FTR" on it.

Message in a bottle? Contacting Jack Sparrow?

He proceeds to cut it out and place it into a bottle. Hmmm. What is that all about?

People from Maine can see he's closed!

Later, he closes his business, walks down the street, and places the bottle just off the curb.

We all float down here.

Next moment he kicks the bottle into a drainage opening. He must be a Helper for the Below. I don't understand how they're going to find that! lol!

Here's some broken glass, Dweller!

Looks like the clown from the movie IT will find it before they do!

Never mind the bloody fingers, Father!

Apparently someone found it because a kid minion gives Father the bottle while he's trying to beat Vincent at chess.

What?! No way!

After reading the message Father becomes serious. He explains to Vincent he has to go up above.

I got to go back to the future.

Seems like he hasn't been up there in quite a while.

Someone must be sick.

Sometime and somewhere later at a hospital, an older lady lies in bed with a gentleman sitting beside her.

Memories in the corners of my mind.

They talk about whether or not to keep running the ad in the newspaper. The lady who's name is Margaret, talks about "seeing someone again." Hmm I wonder who that could be?

Give it up! He's dead!

The man who is Margaret's lawyer doesn't believe this "someone" is even alive anymore.

You gotta have faith!

These two haven't seen this person for 35 years but Margaret believes he's still living. Talk about having faith!

This Henry dude is after your money!

The lawyer is worried about Margaret's will. So this lady must be dying. How sad.

Why can't we all just get along?

They start talking about a man named Henry that the lawyer, who's name is Alan doesn't seem to trust but Margaret does.

Hey, don't you forget about me!

The vice principal from The Breakfast Club (Henry) slides into the room right on cue with a big bouquet of flowers.

If Looks Could Kill

Alan stares daggers at Henry right before leaving. Margaret wishes the two guys would "get along together better." I don't think that's going to happen. Henry says he's going to take Margaret home.

Do you remember the time?

Back in the Below Father is still contemplating the letter in his bedroom.

I'm gonna party like it's 1952!

He opens a closet and pulls out a dusty old hat and suit. Father is ready to go out on the town!

I'm a one man charity!

Henry is in Alan's office trying to "defend" his motives with Margaret. So Margaret has pancreatic cancer (Whoa, this hits home. My uncle just passed away from this a few months back) and with no one to give her inheritance to, Henry thinks he's the next best thing. He claims he's "a charity."

Keep your dirt away from the nice lady!

Alan still does not believe he has good intentions. It appears that Alan has found some dirt on our Henry and tries to blackmail him so that he'll stay away from Margaret.

Someone needs to stay after school.

This upsets our Vice Principal Vernon and he threatens Alan just before he exits the office.

How much could change in 35 years?

Meanwhile, Father is walking out of a subway station into the world of the Above.

IT'S THE END

OF THE WORLD

AS WE KNOW IT!

Oh, I remember you!

This dapper 50s gentleman is shocked by break dancing and spiky mannequin hair! Oh Father, times have changed a little since the last time you were out of the sewers. He unpleasantly strides down a New York street. He appears highly offended by the loud music blaring out from a boom box some dude's holding to his ear as he walks past. Father you're giving off old fogey alert vibes! He glances up at a building and then we are taken back to Father's past!

It was the best of times?

Looks like it's the 50s and Father shuffles out of an elevator looking a bit younger. The two men beside him have apprehended him apparently, as news peeps ask Father questions. He tells them he said his peace in the court hearing and that is all he has to say. Hmm. Sounds like Father has a dubious past!

At least I still know what an elevator is.

Later back to the present, Father steps out of another elevator and makes his way to shock of all shocks, Alan the lawyer's office door!

Things that make you go hmmm.

Well, who would have thought?! Things look a little sus though. Alan's office door is ajar.

Where oh where can he be?

The place is too quiet as Father searches for Alan. He finds papers scattered all over the floor and Alan's body just behind his desk!

I smell foul play!

This ain't good!

Dapper Dude, you're under arrest!

Police arrive and point their guns at Father! Oh what a mess you've gotten yourself into now, Daddio! Father is arrested.

Dreaming of Vincent spying on her.

Vincent decides to camp out on Catherine's balcony and stare at her through the window while she's sleeping. No, I jest. He taps on the window...after a few seconds of peeping.

Find my Daddy! I miss him!

Cathy wakes and joins him on the balcony. Vincent is worried about Father. He's been gone way too long. He needs Cathy's skills.

What's the sitch?

Cathy inquires about why Father went Above and Vincent informs her it has something to do with his past. Vincent doesn't know much but he does know that Father was a doctor back in the day.

What?! Daddy's just Daddy!

When she asks what his real name is all Vincent can say is he only has known him by the name of "Father."

Remind me again why I resurfaced?!

Wow
! This underground "tunnel" leader really wanted to separate himself from all ties! Oh, come on now. I jest...sort of. Just to drive the stake in a little harder we are shown Father having his mug shot taken with the name plate "John Doe". Our poor grandpa's getting such a reality check. He'll never want to come back up ever again!

No Father grumbling in the library. :(

Vincent is back in the Below wondering around the very empty library and missing Father.

Detective Vincent

He searches Father's desk and evidently makes a huge mess of the library trying to find anything related to Father's past.

The tunnel dweller minions will clean it up.

Like I said earlier. This old dude didn't want to be found.

Daddy had a big time career?!

Vincent opens the same closet from earlier with the suits and finds a badge that has Father's picture on it. The words Chittenden Research Institue is printed on it.

I's had a mommy?!

He also finds a wedding  picture! So Father was married once. Vincent pulls out an envelope from the back of the picture frame and looks up. So I guess we'll find out about that later.

Going back in time!

Back up Above, Father is waiting in an interrogation room while cops sift through his belongings from his suit. They take a trip back in time and sigh. I guess they're asking themselves why do they always have to get the weird ones.

How many times do I have to say I didn't do it?

Father continues to say he's innocent. The cops asks him what "The Wreck of My Memories" means but Father remains tightlipped on everything else.

You'll tell me now because I'm loud!

Then one asks or yells to know who he is and Father flashes back to when he was in court back in the 50s again.

Flashing back to another loud person.

Someone is interrogating him there as well and asking him if he is a communist to which he claims he is not.

Lost in the Fifties Tonight

Father begins talking about himself being a doctor at the Institue and "nuclear exposure to our troops".

Stop! Only talk about what we want to hear!

They don't like what he is saying and warns him to shut up and only talk about the topic at hand.

Back in the present the cops are about to give up on Father.

From one library to another!

Also Above, Vincent and Cathy have snuck into a library at night. They are looking through the dusty tomes for anymore info about Father.

Whoa! Some dangerous stuff!

Cathy finds something while sifting through a microfiche reader. A newspaper with the heading "Nuclear Fallout Effects Studied". So Father was "forced to retire" because he claimed the company he was working for had lied about nuclear exposure in I assume would be tests back in the day. He wanted a stop on all the research into said weapons.

Well, we have a Wells!

We also finally receive a name for Father. So Vincent, the man you have known as Father is really Dr. Jacob Wells.

My attempt at Paint 3D! lol Prince Vincent Wells

So that would mean that Vincent is Vincent Wells. Wells and Wales...hmm. That's very close to the names of the royal family in England. Guess you could say this makes Vincent royalty? lol! It is Beauty and the Beast after all and he's usually a prince in the fairytale so...

Dynamic Duo: Chandler & Wells

Vincent also tells Cathy that poor, blacklisted Jacob was married and that he found an envelope behind Father's wedding picture frame.

Be nosey! It's for the greater good!

Vincent doesn't want to continue snooping in his dad's life but Cathy convinces him he should because it might be the only way to help Father.

Finally! Some juicy stuff about Father!

Cathy reads the letter. It turns out it's a letter written by Margaret to Jacob back in the day about the annulment of their marriage by her father because of the trial.

Dreaming of my Dream Lover

The words "The Wreck of My Memories" comes from this letter. So Margaret wrote a Dear John letter to Jacob back in 50s.

Where dreams are crushed.

Looks like poor Father is still thinking about that letter as he's lying in his jail cell. This is sooo depressing!

No, to meeting my gravy boat..

I'm guessing that they found out who Henry was from all those newspapers because the next scene Cathy is paying him a visit. She has asked to see Margaret but he shuts her down. VP Vernon don't want anyone touching his cash machine.

If you happen to grow a heart here's my card.

He offers his help with whatever she needs but our smart Cathy says it's a personal matter. She's determined to see Margaret so she gives him her card.

Why so mysterious?

Just before she leaves Henry asks if "she's always so mysterious?" She replies, "Occupational hazard." Smooth Cathy...very smooth.

Hey you! Do my dirty work!

After Cathy has left a man walks out of another room and says that Margaret is asking for Henry. He places this man onto Cathy to watch her. I smell another slime-ball alert.

You ain't going anywhere!

Henry visits Margaret in the other room who claims that she feels like she's been sleeping for way too long. She wishes to go out for a walk. Of course Henry poo poos that idea and wants to give her more medication.

Time to take your medicine! Alan who?

This doesn't sound fishy in the least! Henry verbally fights with Margaret over taking her medicine. Come on Margaret! Kick this man out of your room! Margaret gives in . Ugh.

Forget Alan ! All you need is me! Ugh

She also wonders why Alan (her now murdered lawyer) hasn't called. Poor Margaret! She needs a hero!

Never gonna give it up!

Catherine is still searching for Father/Jacob while at at work.

I need a Snickers bar!

She seems to be wearing a little thin. Joe comes up joking as usual.

Break me off a piece of choco-cheese nuggets!

He's eating something that makes Cathy queasy. He claims they're "chocolate cheese nuggets." At first I thought they were prunes but that somehow sounds even more sick!

Tootles Roadrunner!

He just came around to let her know while she's been so focused on one thing she's now late for another. That's our Cathy. Always single minded and obsessed.

Just another day on the job.

That other thing she had to do was meeting a prisoner for a sworn testimony.

Papa Tunnel Community behind bars?!

While passing other prisoners in their cells, Cathy comes upon someone who stops her in her tracks!

Don't look at me! Just keep on walking!

Well looky here! It's Father Jacob Wells!

I don't like you much so I don't need your help.

She quickly moves on though for the moment. Later, she visits him during visiting hours. Father doesn't want her involved but Cathy is persistent.

Stay out of my business!

He seems surprised when she calls him Jacob. He's worried about how Vincent is seeing everything but she says Vincent is understanding. When she mentions Margaret, it perks him up.

Come on Father, can't you see I really care?!

She informs him that she is "too ill to have visitors." Hmm. Not really. She's too Henry to have visitors! They talk of Margaret's ad in the paper and why she placed it there.

Okay, I'll accept your help.

Maybe just to meet up one more time. Father says that the lawyer Alan Taft helped him back in the day and was a close family friend. When Cathy askes if he's heard of a Henry Dutton, it doesn't ring a bell.

Father found! Yay! Careful with the kid, Vin!

Vincent receives a message from Cathy that Father has been found. He grabs the young tunnel dweller who gave him the message around the neck in his excitement. Careful there Vincent! He's just a small fry!

Give me money! Whole lots of money!

Edie has done a background check on VP Vernon/Henry. He somehow had plans to build a homeless shelter that cost 10 million dollars!

This dude covers his booty really well!

Henry has his own charity of course and he gets his money by duping poor people like Margaret I'm sure but Edie couldn't find anything on him. His record is clean.

Guess Cathy doesn't like to drive.

Well, it looks like Cathy is back to taking taxis again. What happened to your car from a couple of episodes back, lady? Was that just a rented car so you wouldn't have to blow up alongside our poor Frank? Okay, I need to get over it.

What 's she doing now?

A couple of Henry's men are following Cathy. They watch her walk into the building where Alan Taft's office was.

Repeating history

She searches the office for anything on Henry while someone is making their own way to Cathy.

Jackpot!

She finds some dirt on Henry when a security guard walks in on her.

Lady, why you be snooping?

Lucky Cathy.

Cathy's revolving men

As she leaves the building, two men stop her at the revolving door. Not so lucky Cathy.

Doing cartwheels across the floor.

Back in Margaret's bedroom Henry creepily stares at Margaret while she sleeps.

Dream on my future $$$$$.

Dude, have you ever played a likable character in your entire career?! I'm sure he has but I've only seen him in unlikable roles.

Why am I not surprised?

Cathy has been brought back to Henry of course.

Greed is good!

She learns that the homeless shelter was just a front so this greedy monster could take all the money for himself.

More like Vice Principal Scumbag!

He insinuates that he's going to kill Cathy.

They got the elevator blues.

They all board an elevator together, Cathy, Henry and his goon.

Vincent to the rescue...again.

Vincent is on top of the elevator. She fights the men and Vincent pulls her up up onto the top. She holds onto his back while he climbs up the cables. She is rescued again.

Father: Back to sanity again!

Later, Cathy and Father are walking to the entrance of a subway station. Father thanks Cathy for all she has done for him.

This changes nothing.

Maybe this will place Catherine in a better light for Father. We shall see.

I'd NEVER harm my Knight!

Cathy calls him back to promise him she would "never hurt him and that she loves him (Vincent)."

You still have a long way to go little lady.

Father says he understands all that but he thinks this will make Vincent sad in the end. When she asks him why he says "because part of him is a man." Part of him is a man?! Father?! How could you? You're his dad! I know I jest on here but Vincent is all man! An incredible man perhaps but he is a man. You know what I mean.

Anywhere is better than that sick bed!

Well, what do we have here? Looks like Vincent brought Margaret to the tunnel library to wait for Father.

There's no place like home!

It wasn't a surprise though, because he asks quite quickly where she's at.

Together at last!

Jacob is so happy to be back with his Margaret. They hug each other and go on a tour of the tunnels and caves.

That was a little too much fun, Loverboy!

All that walking around tires her. Remember she's still sick. Father reveals he's wanted to show her this world for a long time.

Why did our lives have to end like this?

She talks of her dying and being so upset about what happened to Jacob.

My son has a lion's face. If he can deal so can we.

Father only talks of forgiveness and moving on. His experience with Vincent changed him.

She had the time of her life.

Some time later on Cathy's balcony Vincent talks with Catherine about Margaret. Her last days were the best time of her life. Awww. She has passed away. These tunnel peeps just can't have a break.

They had 7 days...

Cathy is depressed about how they only got to live their lives together for such a brief time . Vincent replies that "they had seven days."

If only the lady stayed just a little longer.

Guess  he's trying to say you can live an eternity in just seven days. Well, I know another rather extraordinary couple who had a little over two years but I won't get into that just yet.

The end...of this episode.

Speaking of eternity, this review felt like an eternity. Well, we finally learned a little about Father. Cathy's and Father Jacob 's relationship is still a little dicey. The elevator had it's own agent I'm sure. I think it showed up three or four times in this episode.
